I don't think my friend anticipated his trip to the Space Needle turning out quite like it did! He just called to tell me what happened and how he's going to need a personal injury attorney in Seattle now. He knows I have some good recommendations so I'm going to do whatever I can to help. I feel terrible that bad things are happening to my friends lately. One of them just lost a job, one of them broke up with her fiancé of five years and now one of them winds up in the hospital and needs an attorney! He did, at least, say he would be alright. They have his legs bandaged up and they just want him to get plenty of rest right now. We started talking about what happened. He said he booked a reservation to dine at the Space Needle with his girlfriend. He was saying how in all their years of living in Seattle they never went. Then they finally decide to go and he hadn't even made it to the front door yet when someone clipped him with their bicycle. This wasn't just any cyclist though. It was one of the speed bikes and this person was going incredibly fast. The impact was enough to knock him off his feet. Luckily his girlfriend had just made it inside the door so nothing bad happened to her except the shock of seeing her boyfriend in so much pain. It was a whole ordeal from that point trying to get help but they managed to do it. I hope someone's luck turns around soon!
